Do I need to Create a New React App to use the Sanity CMS?

The sanity documentation suggests that, in order to use the CMS, I have to start from scratch and create a new Sanity reactJS project. I don't want to do that - I just want a CMS to work alongside my existing APP. Is there a way to add the cms to my existing site, or run it alongside my site?

oh sure,
sanity init
will create a new project, but you can just
rm -rf
the generated app. manage.sanity.io will gave your project id and let you generate access tokens.

the CLI could also have had an init option for just project creation. there’s also an API BTW if you’re looking for automation: https://www.sanity.io/docs/projects-api
