How to Convert a String into an Array with React

I have a client that wants an Array of strings, but wants studio to allow them to enter "a b c d" and it makes that ["a", "b", "c", "d"]. Any clue if that is possible or where I would looks? Many thanks in advance.

I would try to follow custom input component and create something custom https://www.sanity.io/docs/custom-input-widgets where all the logic for creating "a b c d" and saving that as array would be behind the scene but maybe there is other option which I do not know 🙂
