# Discover the MCP server and improve request reliability

## New Features

- MCP server discovery: Agents and crawlers can now discover the MCP server through its server card at `/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json`, a landing page at `/` in HTML or markdown, `robots.txt` and `llms.txt`. Opening the server URL in a browser now shows the landing page instead of redirecting to the docs.

## Improvements

- Performance: MCP requests use less server CPU and respond faster under load.
- Tool metadata: Corrected safety annotations for `deploy_schema`, `deploy_studio`, `update_dataset`, and `media_library_patch_documents`. Clarified that `update_dataset` changes visibility and description, and cannot rename a dataset.

## Fixes

- OAuth client lookup: Failures are now reported as server errors instead of incorrectly reporting an invalid client.
