Plugins are self-contained sets of configuration options for the Sanity Studio, which can be easily distributed and imported into any project. A plugin may register a new schema type, document badge, tool, or more! This flexibility also means that plugins can vary greatly in complexity and functionality – from small helpers to tools that profoundly transform how you interact with your data.
