New Features
- Document mutations: Creates, patches, and publishes are now validated against an unambiguously identified deployed schema, blocking invalid mutations. If a schema cannot be selected, the mutation continues with a warning; projects without a deployed schema continue without a warning.
Improvements
- Tool selection: Prefer dedicated MCP tools over equivalent Sanity CLI commands when both are available.
- Live-edit documents: Create and patch document types with
liveEditenabled directly at their published IDs, preventing mutations from leaving incompatible drafts.
Fixes
undeploy_schematool: Can now remove an MCP-managed schema whose workspace name is shared with a Studio deployed outside MCP, leaving the Studio schema in place. Its instructions for removing Studio schemas with the Sanity CLI no longer suggest flags thatsanity schemas listdoes not accept.
