Discover the MCP server and improve request reliability

New Features

  • MCP server discovery: Agents and crawlers can now discover the MCP server through its server card at /.well-known/mcp/server-card.json, a landing page at / in HTML or markdown, robots.txt and llms.txt. Opening the server URL in a browser now shows the landing page instead of redirecting to the docs.

Improvements

  • Performance: MCP requests use less server CPU and respond faster under load.
  • Tool metadata: Corrected safety annotations for deploy_schema, deploy_studio, update_dataset, and media_library_patch_documents. Clarified that update_dataset changes visibility and description, and cannot rename a dataset.

Fixes

  • OAuth client lookup: Failures are now reported as server errors instead of incorrectly reporting an invalid client.
