What we announced in NYC
Seven updates that give people and agents more context and control

Beta
Knowledge Bases
One set of facts your whole organization can rely on
Knowledge Bases, part of Sanity Context, pulls the facts out of your content and organizes them by topic. An agent asked "Does this speaker work with eARC TVs?" finds the answer in one lookup.

Know where to look
Content is organized for retrieval that's faster and cheaper.
Single source of facts
Facts from Sanity content, PDFs, and other sites land in one place.
Stop editorial drift
One page says 30-day returns, another says 45. Sanity flags it, you pick.
Beta
Workflows
Define your editorial process, automate what you want
Your content lives in Sanity, but the process around it lives everywhere else. Workflows lets you model the stages a document moves through, next to the content, and lets each stage trigger the work it needs.
Try Workflows now

Process as data
Defined in TypeScript, versioned and deployed like the rest of your code, so it can't drift.
Agents move work too
A person submits a draft; an agent checks it against your style guide and moves it forward or sends it back.
Audits become queries
"What published without legal review" is one GROQ query.

Content Variants
Personalization that lives with your content
Your homepage hero says one thing to a first-time visitor and another to a returning customer. Usually that second version lives in a separate tool. Content Variants keeps both in the same document. Pass what you already know about the visitor, and Sanity returns the right one.

Editors own it
Create, preview, and publish in the document they already work in.
Variants live with the content
Variants live next to the content they're based on, not in another system.
Query magic
Your CDP decides who the visitor is and Sanity serves the matching variant automatically.

Durable Functions
Your publish pipeline finishes, even when someone else's API doesn't
Durable Functions handle state, retries, and recovery across long-running multi-step processes. On publish: sync to Shopify, push to Apple News, notify the team. Apple rate-limits you, and the run picks up where it left off.

Retries per step
One flaky API doesn't rerun the four steps that worked.
Steps share state
Outputs carry forward. State survives restarts and failures.
Steps wait as needed
Up to a year, if that's how long the approval takes.

Blueprints-first setup
Your whole Sanity universe defined in a single file
Today it's the CLI for some things, Manage for others, and no single view of what you have. A Blueprint puts every resource in one versioned file. People and agents change it, you review the diff, and nothing deploys until you say so.

New projects start here
npm create sanity@latestscaffolds a complete Blueprint.Agents edit, you review
Every change is a diff, every state is versioned. If an agent gets it wrong, roll back.
Move when you're ready
Everything that works today keeps working. A migration assistant converts an existing project without touching what's live.
Experimental
Project Horizon
A workspace where teams and agents finish work together
Conversations become durable work. Agents use tools, delegate tasks, and move projects through to completion, with your team in the loop the whole way.

Resonance
Find where your content isn't landing
Resonance builds a living model of your company, your audiences, and your content. It reads your content the way each audience would, backs every finding with evidence, and turns them into a prioritized list of what to improve and why.
