You know the chat bubbles in the corner of every website. They pop up uninvited, ping your browser tab, and push for a demo before they’ve answered a single question. "We wanted ours to be both helpful, educational and fun.
In this episode of Sanity on Sanity, Evelina sits down with Staff Engineer, Kevin Green, and Peter Hofstee from our Internal Systems team to walk through ABC (Agents Be Closing), the unified agent experience on sanity.io
It replaces several disconnected agents. Now, regardless of entrypoint, from our marketing site, to docs, to sanity.io/help to our contact form, you’ll always be able to get the answer you need, talk to a support person or book a meeting. We’ve trained it to be helpful first and foremost, with the agent having to “earn license” to ask more commercially related questions.
Tune in to see:
- How visitors can select any text on the page and get an answer right there, without opening a chat
- How we’re pulling context into the agent with knowledge bases, from internal content like docs and the marketing site as well as external facts and figures like company facts or industry knowledge
- How the team catches gaps (and resolves them!), like the day the agent couldn’t name our CEO
- How our decision layer, powered by JEV, routes every question, and only offers a meeting once it’s earned
Peter will share a guide with an architecture overview, so you can see how the pieces fit together and build your own. Then join us for a live Q&A with Kevin and Peter.
