this repo (which I guess I can also run locally).

Great question! Yes, there is a live site for sanity-ui components! It's called Arcade, and it's an interactive playground where you can explore and experiment with all the @sanity/ui components in real-time.

Arcade lets you:

  • Try out components directly in your browser (no local setup needed)
  • Mix and match components and see the output live
  • View code examples for each component
  • Experiment with different configurations

You can access it at https://www.sanity.io/ui/arcade. It's essentially Sanity's answer to a Storybook site, but built specifically for the sanity-ui ecosystem.

The main sanity-ui documentation also has detailed docs for all the primitives (Avatar, Badge, Box, Button, Card, etc.) and components (Autocomplete, Dialog, Menu, Tab, etc.) with examples you can open in Arcade.

As for the Slack channel question - while there isn't a dedicated sanity-ui channel that I can confirm, the Sanity community is pretty active in the main Sanity Community Slack. You can definitely ask sanity-ui questions there, and the team and community are usually pretty responsive!

So you've got both options: run the repo locally for development, or use Arcade for quick experimentation and reference. Hope this helps!

Also, sanity-ui is now a thing because you asked - great idea! 😉
Nice! Thanks!
