Zero Drift

Paid template

A Next.js 16 and Sanity 5 starter with the boring decisions already made: a fourteen-block page builder, GROQ that resolves links and images before they reach a component, draft mode with live preview, a signed publish webhook, and four build guards that stop the setup drifting.

By Humanist Studio

Zero Drift is a Next.js 16 and Sanity 5 starter with the plumbing wired and the sharp edges filed off. The live demo is the product itself — the sales page, built with this code and filled from Sanity.

On the Sanity side

  • A page builder with fourteen blocks, each registered in schema, component and renderer — and a build check that fails if one of the three is missing.
  • Routing from content: a pathname field creates the route, and every routable document lands in the sitemap with a real lastmod.
  • GROQ fragments that resolve links into ready hrefs and images into URL, dimensions and LQIP, so internal links exist in the server-rendered HTML.
  • Draft mode and live preview from the Studio, publish-only singletons for header, footer and metadata, and a signed webhook that puts each publish on the live site at once.
  • The demo content as a seed you import in one command, so you start from a working site, not an empty Studio.

On the Next.js side

  • App Router, Server Components fetch content, no client-side fetching.
  • A responsive system anchored to your Figma frames: 1rem = 10px, and text-fluid-[32,48] interpolates between your mobile and desktop frames with no breakpoints.
  • Sections that invert to a dark theme with one Studio field; no component branches on it.
  • Four build guards: a secret in the browser bundle, a block with no component, fluid type that steps backwards, and AI instructions that name a schema which no longer exists — each fails the build.
  • A Claude Code toolkit — skills and commands for new blocks, objects and document types — plus AGENTS.md for Cursor, Copilot and Codex.

What it is not: JavaScript, not TypeScript. Single language. No UI kit, no auth or billing scaffolding.
