I'm Carl Mitchell, the creator of Image to 3D AI.

My professional passion is focused on building the next generation of creative tools, and Image to 3D AI is the flagship of that mission. The project was born from a simple but powerful question: What if anyone could create 3D assets as easily as they take a photograph?

For decades, 3D modeling has been a highly specialized skill, locked behind a steep learning curve and expensive software. This created a significant bottleneck for indie game developers, AR/VR creators, product designers, and digital artists. Image to 3D AI is our solution to that problem.

Our platform leverages advanced generative AI and sophisticated neural networks to analyze any 2D input—be it a photograph, a simple sketch, or a piece of concept art—and generate a high-quality, fully-textured 3D model in minutes. This isn't just a gimmick; we are focused on producing production-ready assets that can be immediately imported into game engines like Unity and Unreal, or design tools like Blender and Maya.

The core mission of Image to 3D AI is to democratize 3D content creation. We want to empower solo developers to populate their worlds, help designers iterate on physical products faster, and give artists an entirely new medium to explore. We are constantly refining our AI models to improve mesh quality, texture fidelity, and stylistic control.

As we grow, we're building a vast, scalable library for our community's generated assets, a complex task made possible by our flexible structured content backend (which is powered by Sanity).
