About the project

Hazel May is an innovative, award-winning team of visual researchers, editors, and licensing specialists based in London. Since their founding, they've helped major brands like Levi's and Burger King power campaigns with content, build visual narratives, and facilitate the commercial use of intellectual property worldwide.

We built a striking digital platform with Sanity at the core, prioritizing portfolio impact, service clarity, and brand personality. The website acts as their creative headquarters, showcasing their expertise while expressing their unique approach to visual content.

Key challenges and solutions

Service complexity: We used Sanity's content modeling to clearly organize their diverse offerings, like Research & Development, Editing & Animation, Clearance, and Licensing, making complex processes accessible and understandable.
Portfolio showcase: Custom components and dynamic layouts highlight their impressive work for clients like VisitBritain, COACH, Moncler, and Goldman Sachs, allowing visitors to experience their creative impact firsthand.
Brand voice integration: The site's design and content structure captures Hazel May's distinctive personality, incorporating their bold, confident voice with statements like "For the creatives, creators, the planners and the makers" throughout the user experience.

Takeaway

Hazel May's new digital home effectively communicates their unique value proposition, showcasing how they supercharge creative ideas and power campaigns with content. The platform serves as both portfolio and business driver, helping them connect with global brands looking for exceptional visual content expertise.
