Sillwright: Astro and Sanity site for builders and architects

Paid template

A multi-page website for custom home builders and design-and-build studios, built with Astro and Tailwind CSS. Projects, services, team members, journal posts and testimonials are edited in Sanity Studio.

By Magnaem Ambata

Sillwright is a website for a custom home or design-and-build firm where the owners still take the first call, and where the first thing a prospect wants to know is what the house will cost.

The site answers that before the call. The process page explains the two contracts, a paid design and pricing stage followed by a fixed-price build, and the homepage shows cost ranges per square metre. Each project has a spec sheet and a week-by-week build log, each service lists what the fixed price covers, and Start a project qualifies the enquiry in a few short steps.

The code is Astro with Tailwind CSS, and the content lives in Sanity. Projects, services, team members, journal posts and testimonials are collections you edit in Sanity Studio, and the repo includes seed content to import, so the site is full from the start. Until you connect a Sanity project, the site runs on its local content.

It also comes as a Figma file with the design system set up as variables. The same structure fits other trades that quote before they build, like renovation specialists, landscaping firms and architecture practices.

Buying the code gives you read access to a private GitHub repo to fork. Each purchase covers one website.
