Lamina is an AI-powered media generation platform that helps content teams create images and videos directly from briefs. The Sanity plugin integrates Lamina into your Studio workflow — generate assets from any image or file field, embed the full Lamina editor as a Studio tool, and trace every generated asset back to its original run.
How it works with Sanity:
- Asset Source — "Generate with Lamina" appears in image/file field dropdowns. Describe what you need, pick a modality, and Lamina generates options you can insert directly.
- Studio Tool — Full Lamina editor embedded in a Studio tab for more complex workflows.
- Document Action — "Edit in Lamina" lets you re-open the original generation run for any Lamina-sourced asset.
