I'm Hasham, a full-stack engineer based in Islamabad, Pakistan, with a backend-heavy focus on Node.js, NestJS, and AWS. I currently lead backend development at WeatherWalay, where I built the data infrastructure behind the Pakistan Meteorological Department's national weather portal — a system handling over 50 years of meteorological records at scale, with a custom AWS architecture designed for high-concurrency, government-grade uptime.

Outside client work, I built Broadsheet, a production-ready Next.js 16 + Sanity Studio v5 starter kit for editorial, magazine, and newsroom sites — now featured on Sanity's official template marketplace. It came out of a simple frustration: publishers kept rebuilding the same article types, layout systems, and editorial schema from scratch, so I built the plumbing once and shipped it as a product.

I'm an AWS Certified Solutions Architect who likes turning messy content and data problems into systems that are boring in the best way — reliable, well-modeled, and easy for someone else to pick up. When I'm not writing backend code, I'm usually chasing dark skies for astrophotography or out on a mountain bike trail.
