Using Shopify Buy Button in the Front End - Shopify vs. Snipcart

Has anyone just used the buy button provided by shopify in their front end on an individual simple product to then checkout using shopify? I see a few challenges but I'd like to know if there are any special issues I cannot foresee. Otherwise how is the checkout process working? I'm not a high end developer by any means so the prospect of authenticating and checking out using a payment gateway within my app is daunting to say the least. TY
the buy button basically creates an iframe rich cart, from there clicking checkout takes you to the traditional shopify checkout just like any other experience
you can customize the look and feel of the iframe/buttons etc but not drastically
for full flexibility go all the way to the buy sdk, but if time is a concern the buy buttons are pretty quick and dirty and work.
If quick and dirty is your game, look into Snipcart
I find Snipcart to be a more flexible solution than Shopify
Agreed!
