Is there a maximum number of projects I have can on one account?

Good news! There's no maximum limit on the number of projects you can have in a Sanity account. You can create as many projects as you need!

This was confirmed directly by Sanity - when asked this exact question, they simply answered "Nope!" to confirm there's no restriction.

That said, there are a few things to keep in mind as you create multiple projects:

Organization & Billing Structure

Projects in Sanity are grouped under organizations, which serve as the top-level billing entity. Organizations consolidate billing for multiple projects into a single payment point, making it easier to manage multiple projects administratively.

Per-Project Limits

While there's no limit on how many projects you can create, individual projects do have some technical limits. For example, there's a maximum of 1000 users per project. But these are per-project limits, not account-wide restrictions.

Project Isolation

Each project is self-contained with its own datasets, members, and configurations. Content and configuration cannot be shared directly between projects, though you can reference content between datasets within the same project.

Best Practices for Agencies

If you're an agency managing multiple client projects, Sanity recommends creating separate organizations for each client rather than putting all projects under one agency organization. This approach provides:
