Hi, does anyone know if Sanity had an annual subscription as I am evaluating whether to purchase an annual subscription which could be cheaper in the long run compared to a monthly subscription. I can’t find any information about annual subscription and billing on their site
AI Update

Based on the Plans and Payments documentation, Sanity currently operates on a monthly billing cycle - there isn't an annual subscription option available at this time.

Here's what the documentation states about billing:

"Projects are billed in advance each month, and follow calendar months; all projects in an organization are invoiced and charged together on the first of each month, along with any overage charges accrued during the previous month."

Current billing structure:

  • Growth Plan: $15 per seat per month (billed monthly)
  • Enterprise Plan: Custom pricing (contact sales)
  • All plans follow calendar month billing cycles

How pricing works:

  • Plans are billed monthly in advance on the first of each month
  • If you upgrade or cancel mid-month, Sanity prorates the charges - so you only pay for the portion of the month you're using a particular plan
  • All projects in an organization are invoiced together

If you need annual billing:

While annual subscriptions aren't standard, for Enterprise plans with custom pricing, you might be able to negotiate annual billing terms by contacting Sanity's sales team. Enterprise plans offer more flexibility in their payment arrangements, so it's worth asking if annual billing with a potential discount is available at that tier.

For Growth plans though, you're looking at monthly billing as the standard option. The proration system does help ensure you're only paying for what you use if you make changes mid-month.
