I am having an issue adding a new user to a project. The new user has created an account but accepting the invitation doesn’t seem to do anything. How can I contact customer support?

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble adding a new user to your project! This is a frustrating issue that can happen for a few reasons.

For account and project access issues like this, you'll want to reach out to Sanity's account support team. They can help troubleshoot invitation problems, user management issues, and access-related questions.

Here's how to contact support:

Visit the Sanity contact page and select "Account support" - this will let you submit a request for help with billing, quotas, plans, and user management issues. You can also go directly to the billing/account support form.

Before you contact support, here are a few things to check:

  1. Email verification: Make sure the new user has verified their email address associated with their Sanity account
  2. Invitation link: Check if the invitation email went to spam/junk folders
  3. Browser issues: Try accepting the invitation in an incognito/private window or a different browser
  4. Account conflicts: Ensure the user isn't already logged into a different Sanity account in the same browser

For technical questions, the Sanity Discord community is also very active and helpful - thousands of developers and the Sanity team are available there to assist.

If this is blocking your work, definitely reach out to account support right away - they're there to help resolve these kinds of access issues!

And when you get a moment can you send over the project ID and I’ll take a look on our end to see if there is something obviously amiss. (please send via DM)
Thanks Benjamin. I was worried it would be hard to reach someone, but I’m glad that wasn’t the case. I was able to get on a screen share with the new user and walk him through the signup process. There were a few odd hiccups—he kept requesting a password reset right in front of me and not receiving it even after waiting a bit, for instance, and it’s unclear why that was happening to him. It was a bit embarrassing seeing basic actions not seem to work for him for a few minutes, but after some back-and-forth, he’s all set now.
Yeah we are doing our best to be as responsive as time permits with the growing size of our community! Ah, understood. I’m glad to hear that the issue is resolved now.
That said we do our best to read through all of the threads in these channels within the Sanity community and respond to them. Our community is also usually very helpful depending on what issue you may have ran into and they like to help each other out here depending on their individual experience.

Also please don’t hesitate to participate in community discussions or post anything interesting that you’ve built with Sanity in here to possibly inspire/help others! Glad to have you here
