Using a Document List Inside an Alternative View for a Document

Does anyone know if it's possible to use a "structure builder/document list" inside an alternative view for a document?
So, in addition to having, say an editor view and a preview view, I could have "children" view which could in theory be a document list view that's filtered by the current parent?
This would mean that the editor-person wouldn't have to leave their (parent) context to create children (and really help tidy up the top level desk).

Happy to clarify (also with sketches) if that would help?
Also, hope this is the right place to ask!
Hey
user C
, I think what you are asking is only possible by opening multiple tabs. But I can assure you, this is a much requested feature the team is looking into! Stay tuned
Thought I'd come up with a possible workaround by somehow using desk structures inside a document view! Guess we'll just have to keep waiting for this. (It's pretty frustrating for a lot of editors. Especially since they tend to close the tab, and having to wait ~10–60 seconds for a new studio instance to boot up in the new tab, but you are probably very aware!)
Do you have any wild ballpark guess on some sort of timeline?
